From my last entry till now, I have a few highlights to blog about.
First up is celebrating Ching's birthday with my beloved group of gals from Suzhou trip. We had dinner at Gaia (pronounced as Kaya) Korean restaurant followed by a picnic at Sentosa.
The picnic was very fun and we seem to have the whole place to ourselves. We ate delicious Bakerzin mango cake, drank champagne, wrote our wishes on the Kongming Teng and opened up the presents. It was very exciting and fun when a group of gals tried setting off the Kongming Teng without any prior experience and even wanted to get it back. Whenever I pass by the spot, I will be reminded of our adventure!
On the eve of CNY's eve, I went for a hotel stay at Conrad with clique. We walked to Clarke Quay for some drinks and the guys took turns wearing our heels after the alcohol effect set in. It was hilarious! Heels are just too painful for me and Seet. As a result, we changed out of our heels once we were out of Suntec and wore our comforting slippers on the way, before changing back to heels once we reached the mouth of Clarke Quay. Below are some photos taken that day. More hotel stays to come!!!

CNY was full of food and Blackjack games. I think that the visitings are getting more mundane as it's the same routine every year. The things that excite me still are the food, gambling and hongpaos!! Huat ar!! :D
Right after CNY break, I acted as a semi tour guide for a group of my Dad's friends. It was fun but tiring! I went to places that I have never been before because these are places that only tourists would go and locals like me would never want to spend so much money on the admission fees. I went in for free! That's the benefit of being a tour guide. Maybe I can be a tour guide next time?? Being a tour guide needs to be able to talk for the whole day and I can do that! But the drawback is that it is really a very tiring job and heard that the pay is not really good. But anyway, this time round it was rewarding!
