Today is the last day of 2009! That's fast! I had an enjoyable December to mark the end of 2009 and I am happy!
Both Suzhou and Taiwan trips were fun and I enjoyed them tremendously.
In fact, I am glad that I went for the Suzhou trip. At first, I was contemplating whether to go for the trip as it was costly and was not what I wanted actually (I wanted to go Beijing). But now, I am so glad that I went!
It's a trip that will remain etched in my memory forever. I made some very good friends there and had a great experience. Till now, more than one week after the trip, I still miss my friends and the times we spent there.
Taiwan trip was fun as well although Suzhou trip is still unbeatable!
I tried many different snacks at Taiwan and shopped alot! I have heard and seen so much about Taiwan snacks on TV shows and I finally had the chance to try them.
I dislike eating oysters but when I went there, I quite like the oysters. They were sweeter and did not have a weird taste. Chicken cutlet there is really big and clams are very sweet and fresh!
On top of eating alot, I bought alot too! We spent one whole day at Wufenpu and at the end of the day, I was dead. You will never realise how tired you are when shopping until you have finished shopping and sit down. Then, all the tiredness will overwhelm you. Not joking.
We went sightseeing at some of the famous places of interest such as Fisherman's Warf, Jiufen, Ye Liu and Xiao Ren Guo. The scenery there is quite nice and I like the ancient street (lao jie) at Jiufen the most! It gives a very cosy feel!
Alright, I had a nice end to 2009 and hopefully 2010 will be great too (or even better)!
