Happy Teachers' Day to all teachers!!!!!!

Today is the first day of school holidays and surprisingly many students are taking this chance to study. I went to the library this morning planning to study there but it turned out that the library was packed. And I was there early lor...10.05am. Just 5 minutes after the library opened and the tables were fully occupied already. Quite unbelievable right?! In the end, I decided to borrow a book and head back home to study. Haiz, regretted my decision. I should have taken Ben's suggestion and head to other places to study. I was quite slack at home.

Oh ya! Recently after I was hooked on the book The Last Empress of China, I started to have a renewed interest in reading. Haha I have stopped reading books for quite some time and this book has made me addicted to reading on the train ride to school. Haha I have finished reading the book and hence I went to borrow another book to read. The Last Empress of China is really an interesting and intriguing novel. It makes you re-think about the perceptions of Ci Xi Tai Hou. It is widely acclaimed that she was an evil empress and how she manupulated her sons to be puppet emperors. But after reading the book, I could not help but wonder whether is it the truth. Was there any political reason behind this portrayal? Hm...

Anyway, on Saturday I went to Esther's church with Denise and Wei Ching for some board games. Although we were there for a relatively short time, we enjoyed ourselves. We played games such as "I'm the boss" and "Mr X". Haha I like the first game. It can be quite choatic.

After that, I met up with Seet Ee and her sis to join a group for walking at the Southern Ridges. We got to know a member of this group through our working stint last year. It was a great walk. Haha before I embarked on the walk, I sort of regretted about agreeing to go for the walk with Seet. But in the end, I was glad that I went. Although it was raining and we were drenched, we had a fun time doing the walk. Haha me and Seet were quite noisy at times, disrupting the peace there. The walk took about 2 hours and it really doesn't feel that long. But still, we were all tired after the walk.

Here are some photos that we took...
