Alright, I have decided not to blog about the thailand trip day by day anymore. Ya, I have 3 more days to blog about but I am lazy to blog it day by day le. It is time-consuming too. So, I have posted all the photos (hm, not really all lah but still alot le) onto webshots. If you want to see the photos, please feel free to visit this link...

Hm, recently I have second thoughts about going to Laos. I know I shouldn't but I wonder how's the condition over there. I am quite worried that I can't adapt to the place there. Moreover, my stomach has always been weak. Haiz, hope it can endure the 14days there. Hope the condition there is not too bad. Hm, I shall focus my thoughts on helping the people there and not worry so much about the condition there. I have to go no matter what!

Before I blog about Thailand trip day 2, let me post some photos of food first haha. This afternoon went to collect Seet's piano exam results with her and we went for dinner at Pasta De Waraku. It was our first time there and I quite like their food. However, the portions were quite small.
Sprite with Green Tea ice-cream. The ice-cream was quite good. I think Esther will like this haha.
Tomato fried rice with mushroom and chicken. Hm, just average.
My soup pasta. Although the tomato soup was not very rich, it was still quite nice.
I think this is the best among all the food we had. The pizza crust is thin and crispy. I think it's even more crispy than the one at Shokudo. The prawns are succulent.
Alright, now I shall move on to Thailand trip day 2.

We started the day quite late because the bed was too comfortable and we had to drag ourselves out of it. Furthermore, Seet and I shared a King-sized bed so it was really good to sleep in. Our driver came to pick us up around noon time for lunch at a roadside stall.
On our way out for lunch.
This is our lunch. It's really cheap!! This bowl of noodles with alot of ingredients costs around S$1!! Somemore it's nice!
Seet Ee enjoying her bowl of noodles.
This is our chef! Hm, guess it's a she. "She" was very sporting lah. Seet approached her to take a pic and she gamely agreed.
After our lunch, we tried local durian. It was very big but dry. I still prefer those we get back in Singapore. After that, our driver drived us back to the resort and it was time to hit the beach!
One group photo before we start playing! The beach was quite deserted. I think we were the only ones playing water sports.
Off we go for our banana boat! Haha QB is ever camera-ready. See!
Off we go on our banana boat! It was my first time playing and I must say that it's really scary, fun and tiring. Haha it was difficult to climb back onto the boat. Luckily we had 3 guys there otherwise it would take forever to climb back up. Oh! The "culprit" who tossed us into water several times was really strong. He could pull Seet up immediately while the rest of us could not at first. Aiyo, I even knocked my head onto the jet-ski once. Haha the next few days we suffered muscle aches from this vigorous activity.
Here we returned safe and sound but tired. Haha QB has a look of concentration on his face.
While the 5 of us went to play banana boat, Ben and Andy entertained themselves well. Haha they tried doing yoga in a comical version. Haha everytime I look at these photos I can't stop giggling.

Next, we head for the swimming pool! Haha there was this part that has a depth of 3m and as I couldn't swim, Seet had to drag me across. Below are some photos taken at the pool.

After our swim, we went to change into gear for horse-riding.
Me together with my horse trainer and my horse named Mary. Mary is really old because I could see white hairs on her lah. She's very gentle though. Haha twice I was scared by her when she suddenly turned her head and touched my shoe. The trainer said that there was fly. It is not easy to ride the horse ok! Just sitting and walking the horse is easy but making it run is not easy. You have to stand up and sit down in rhythmn and it's tiring! No wonder those who ride horses have slender waists.

After horse riding, it was time for jacuzzi, steambath and sauna!! The place was really nice and big. Haha our endurance was really tested inside in the sauna. It was really hot! Me and Seet tried our best to stay in there as long as we could.
Us in front of the jacuzzi.
After that, we went back for a quick shower before heading out for dinner with our driver. He recommended this place that serves cheap and good food. Oh ya, remember to bring your mosquito repellent along as there are alot of mosquitoes out there.
After our dinner, we wanted to go to 7 eleven to by some bread for the next morning and some tidbits. In the end, we bought more than that. There were quite a number of roadside stalls outside the 7-eleven and we bought alot of food to eat. Haha yes, eat again. We had satay, mango salad, raw soft shell crabs that I dared not eat and red ruby dessert.
Haha Seet feeding QB the desserts. After that, we went to our hotel lobby for a complimentary drink each. Haha we did something out of place there. Instead of sitting on the big sofa chairs, we sat on the carpet. Haha because it was easier to reach our drinks and the lobby was not too crowded at that time. Haha but we really looked out of place. There was also a pianist playing the piano at the lobby and seet was tempted to ask for permission to play. After that, we went back to our rooms for more rounds of silent heart attack and asshole daidee. These 2 had became our favourite games. We called it a day after that.

Alright friends! I am going to blog about my Thailand trip. There are just too many photos to squueze into one entry. There are about 600 photos!!! Haha so I will separate them into different entries.

Here comes Day 1!!!!!
All of us met up at the airport around 4am to prepare for check-in. We were taking budget airline and hence it was a no-frills airport.
The guys who arrived very early at the airport haha.
Haha we could hardly contain our excitement!
Arrival at Bangkok! Haha I was holding a card that spells my name as "Vanassa Gos". Oh man! That became my new nick for the rest of the trip.
After we touched down at Bangkok, we were transported to Hua Hin for a relaxing stay. We loveeeee the hotel in Hua Hin!!!! It's really glamorous and beautiful. I love the toilet best!! It has wooden tiles and all the amenities that you could ask for. Haha me and Seet even soaked in the bathtub together for more than an hour!
QB, Andy, Eugene and Ben at the hotel lobby.
It's Seet's and EK's turn.
We were waiting to check in. The receptionists were very friendly as well. The best thing is, there were 2 trainees from Taiwan and we click immediately. We talked alot with them and they recommended some places that we could go for cheap and good meals.
Our dinner at the night market!!!

Look at this mango with glutinous rice! It's heavenly!!!! The mango is super sweet!! Haha QB had a serving of this everyday!! Haha see how nice it is.
Alright, that's all for the first day. We spent most of our time travelling to Hua Hin, exploring the hotel and also the night market.
Look out for Day 2!

Today is Fathers' Day! Everyone remembers to wish your Dad happy Fathers' Day alright.

Yeah! In 2 days time, I will be in Bangkok!! It's so fast! I can't wait to go on a holiday.

The past few days after my exam I have been trying to repay my sleeping debt, catching some shows on tv and also shopping with friends. I was so tempted to buy a digital camera at the PC show because one of my friend's uncle works there and could give me a cheaper price. However, it still exceeds my budget and I don't really like the camera. I still prefer Casio which comes in bright red. So, I have decided to wait somemore.
Yesterday, after going to AWWA home for dumpling celebrations, I met up with Agnes, Ben, QB, Eugene and Andy at City Hall. It was very crowded because of the PC show. We went to Changing Appetitte for our dinner. They had changed their menus with some new items. After our dinner, we shopped around before calling it a day.

Here are some photos of our food!! Haha I realise that it has been quite some time since I last posted some photos of food. Not to worry, more food photos are coming, maybe thai cuisine?

Ben's burger...I like the beef...it's tasty.
Eugene's salmon.
Andy's burger.
Agnes's grilled chicken. Can you spot the potato?
My grilled chicken. It has mango slices and cheese on it. Oh it comes with nachos too.Innovative!

Yoz! I'm back!!

Haha I have forgotten what I have done last week so I am not going blog about them. On Sunday night, Denise Loh came over to my house to prepare a surprise "show" for Seet Ee. As it was late and it was not convenient for her to bring all the props home, she stayed over at my place. We were thinking of giving Seet Ee a surprise and Denise Loh came up with a funny idea and she put in tremendous effort in making that surprise works. She spent a bomb on those props lah. Luckily her efforts paid off, Seet Ee was happy. The guys put in alot of courageous efforts as well. Good job people!

So on Monday afternoon, our clique made our way to Chevrons at Jurong to celebrate Seet Ee's birthday. It's a pity that Agnes could not join us because she had a camp otherwise our clique would have turned up in full force. We had a mini rehearsal at the lobby first because we did not want Seet to suspect anything. We even lied to her that we did not have enough money to buy the Burberry watch and hence, we have not bought her a present yet. All these were the surprises that we planned for her, or rather it was her sister who planned it haha.

We had a buffet for dinner and many people turned up. There were her friends from primary, sec, jc and uni, relatives and even students. Haha one of her student is super cute! We heard so much about him and we finally saw him. After the buffet, people started going off and here comes our surprise for Seet! The guys were really brave and sporting. They did what Denise Loh told them to and it was hilarious! Haha Ben acted as the Gatsby guy in the commercial, QB acted as a muscle man, Andy and KK acted as a farmer couple, Denise Loh and Eugene acted as a supermodel with her gay fashion designer. Haha the limelight of the evening goes to none other than Seet's bf, EK! He had Amy Winehouse's make-up, super big bunny ears, red hand gloves, a lactation bra, a super mini skirt, black stockings and high heels!!!!!! It was totally crazy!!

After all the crazy antics, it was a time for touching moments. We gave Seet Ee a big red board with all our messages written on it and also the Burberry watch that we lied about. We could see the look of surprise on her face when she opened the present and she cried while reading the board!! After that, Denise and Shi Qi shared a cab home while the rest of us stayed over. I left the next day afternoon as I had a paper the following day.

Here are some photos that we took at the party. I have uploaded them at this website: http://good-times.webshots.com/album/562196701IodAMK?start=108 This is not the full collection of photos because some were taken using seet's and QB's cameras and I am still waiting for them to upload.

Haha had my psychology paper this afternoon. Hm, it's not easy. Shall not talk about it. After the paper, me and Denise went to Causeway Point to meet up with Seet Ee, Eng Keat, Benjamin, Eugene, Denise Loh, KK and Seet's parents for a movie. We watched Kung Fu Panda. It's hilarious! The unexpected thing is, Jackie Chan did a voice cover for one of the characters and we did not notice it at all. This shows that either his character was so insignificant that we didn't pay much attention to what he was saying or he sounds just like an American speaking English. After that, we went for dinner and walked around abit before me and Denise went home while the rest made their way to Eugene's place.

Alright...I am going to sleep like a dead log tonight. Au Revoir.
