Haha...just saw Jay's mv for tui hou. He looks really awful with that tai ke look and that hairstyle really doesn't suits him.
Hm...today shall be the last day for me to slack. Countdown to exams.
Yesterday, denise, qb, andy and I had a party-world session. We wanted to catch a movie at first but the 2 guys were late. We then decided to sing. It had been quite a long time since my last session le. As usual, denise sang well. I was quite surprised that qb didn't choose Zhang Hui Mei's songs. It became Denise who sang her songs...haha
Just now I was reading Deanna's blog and one of her entries really struck me. She was saying that she is getting more alone nowadays and uni life is like that. But she dun mind coz it gives her time to collect her thinkings and she don't feel lonely, knowing that friends are watching over her. Really. Why does uni life has to be that individualistic? So many people that I have talked to are also saying that they are quite alone in sch. Although I have Denise with me (luckily) but on Mondays, we have different timetables and she will be going off earlier. I will have 2 hours or so alone waiting for one idiotic tutorial. My other friends either have not come to sch yet or are having classes as well. Then I will be in the library or one of the benches studying. It does feel lonely sometimes. I really envy those who can do things on their own, like hanging out in sch alone, shopping alone, watching movies alone etc. I don't know why but I can't. I will just feel awkward and out of place. This will be something that I need to learn.

Phew...finally I'm done with my essay assignment. I had spent 4 long hours doing it. Better get me a good grade. Haha.
I have finished watching Goong!! Haiz...feel so empty now...suffering from the withdrawal symptom. I hate this feeling. Hope that tomorrow when back to school I will be busy and get over it. The show is really really really nice. Its funny yet touching. Luckily its a happy ending if not I will be more sad. (opps...those who haven watch will know the ending le...paiseh). At first I think that Lu(second prince) is better looking but after the whole show, I think that I have a deeper impression of Shin (crown prince). His acting very good leh and I think that he's also good looking. Duno is it because influence by their characters in the show. Lu is so quiet but he is also very pitiful. Shin is more of the fairytale kind. Oh ya, guess how tall is Shin. He's 187. I don't think that he looks that tall. After watching the whole show, I went on to watch the NG scenes and an interview on TV. Many are speculating that Joo Ji Hoon (Shin) and Yong Earn...(Caijing) have something between them. I think they are compatible. Oh ya...there's a season 2 coming out in Korea in Jan 2007. But the cast is different. So disappointing. Just now, when I saw that the cast was different, I was so sad. Haiz. Duno when can see them again. They are new actors and didn't have any other shows I think. Although the plot for second season seems ok, but why must they change the cast. Aiyo.

Just had a short but fruitful shopping spree at Bugis. It had been a long time since I bought so many clothes. Bought 5 tops altogether. While seeing Illya choosing the floral prints clothes, really envy her able to carry off those tops so well. They really suited her alot.
Oh ya, yesterday Denise saw one guy quite gd-looking. She very funny lor. Coz we were in the train and she saw him, later after she alighted, she called me and tell me to look at that guy. Hm...he's really gd-looking. I saw him holding MAE notes, which means he's in NTU. Haha. Today Denise still cant get him off her mind. Hahaha. Today we were in north spine, hope to see him but didn't. I think I forget his looks le. Suddenly, it seems like NTU got gd-looking ones, just that they hide in north spine. Haiz, we hardly go there. Maybe we should go there for meals, the food there nicer also. But those we see who are quite gd-looking are normally year 3 or year 4 le, I tnk. Which means they are so much older. Aiyo. Even that refined guy working le. Haiz.
Anyway, tmr going watch World Trade Centre with Denise. Hope its a nice movie. Waiting for Deathnote also. The plot seems nice and interesting. Thinking of going Vivocity next Sat to catch Deathnote. Anybody wans?

Yesterday was the first time I took part in WSC important events. I missed the orientation and canvassing events. At first I was quite hesitant about joing them for this celebration as I was quite lazy to go and I do not really know the people there.. But in the end it turned out fun. Every group had to come up with a performance and our group decided to sing. We met at 3.30 to rehearse for a Hokkien song, ai piang ka eh yah, then we went to prepare for the celebrations. My group was quite disappointing, only 5 out of 11 turned up. Our attendance was the worse among the groups. Other groups had around 8 to 10 people. Many seniors came for the celebrations too, I think there were about 20 of them, some I didn't even see them before but they were friendly. The celebration was to start at 6 but around 5.30, the elders automatically made their way downstairs, without us inviting them. Haha I think they are really excited. We served them food and drinks, haha thats when Macdonaldization comes in again. Haha. Anyway, after that it was the performance. Pei Kiat's group did wushu and I keep giggling at her. I think she can consider joining wushu haha. After that, it was the karaoke session. Every elder who came out to sing have to find one volunteer to sing with them. The elders really like singing alot. They sort of queued up to sing somemore. Volunteers of course don't want to sing lah, thats when sabotaging comes in. The seniors keep sabotaging one another, even the emcee sabotaged our president. It was really funny. Remember the refined looking guy I mentioned before? He was standing in front of me and he turned and ask me go and sing. I was like, eh I don't know that song. Got one uncle who taught us magic tricks last week, he laughed very loudly and scary when one auntie was singing. After that, all volunteers sang ming tien hui gen hao and xi shui chang lui but we did not have the lyrics so during the chorus it was super loud and the rest of the song was mumbles. They even had the handover ceremony there. It was quite cliched. The prev pres handed a golden basin to our new pres, something like jin pen xi shou. It was really fun, could see the elders all enjoying themselves and we volunteers also had a great time. Ah...next week is the last session before we break for our exams...haiz...think I will miss those uncles aunties.

Oh no...recently I have found a new hobby-Mahjong. Haha...recently i really improved alot on my mahjong skills and I enjoy playing it. That day my uncle came over and we started playing mahjong. My father had quite a long time telling me the rules as we play but till now, I don't really get all the rules but at least much better than the past. I thought my parents would object to me playing mahjong but that was not the case. Haha I even won 2 bucks. Not bad right.
Oh ya...congrats to NUS. they came in 19 for the ranking of universities. Haiz NTU deteriorated to 61. Disappointed. Wah now the gap between NUS and NTU is so great le I think more people will choose to go NUS. A weird thing is they never mention SMU. I wonder is it so behind that they don't mention.
Anyway, just now I had my last tuition for my Pri 6 student. Mon will be her last paper. Don't know why felt abit sad and lost after the tuition. Hope she will do well. Last Thurs, we watched a video during lect and I was quite troubled by that. Its about child labour. While watching, I could feel my goose pimples rising and its really very sad that I had the urge to weep at some parts. The children were either cheated to work or forced to. They worked long hours daily under cramped areas but they don't get to see their pay even after many years later. They are also often beaten and every mistake they make, the boss will increase their debt. One boy even killed his boss to run away but was caught and jailed. I think that studying Soci really makes me look at things differently and know more about the world. Today, while my Da sent his car for washing, the scene reminds me of MacDonaldization. Haha...think I really going bonkers.
