Yeah today I have no school as it's Union day and my class is cancelled. Woohoo...a long weekend ahead. But I not really looking forward to it also. Have so much reading to do and everyone seems so busy recently.
Oh ya, that day on tuesday, I went for the WSC( welfare service club) interview. Before that, me, Denise and Pei Kiat went to Canteen A, the engineering canteen, for our dinner. The food there is so much better than my canteen, Canteen B. There are alot of people but I didn't see any yan dao. Haiz.
At first I thought maybe they are just going to talk to us and it will be something like a tea party but in the end, it's really interview. I went with Pei Kiat and we were so lost and scared. Haha don't know why we felt so scared also. Maybe it's because we don't like interviews and we do not have much experience also. Luckily, everything went smoothly (I hope). Haiz, I did not really see any yan dao also. I only saw one to two guys who were not bad-looking that's all.Or rather there were quite few guys there. After the interview, it was already about 7 plus and I think that NTU at night looks creepy. It's so quiet and dark, with all those "forests" nearby and the wind howling, it really feels eerie.
Hope that I can get into WSC.

Once upon a time, there was an angel who goes around helping others. She enjoys the joyful aura surrounding the earthly beings. One day, she came across a poet who is young, handsome, wealthy and talented. He even has a beautiful wife. However, he was never happy and asked the angel for help. The angel did not give him anything. Instead, she took away everything that he had owned.
Half a month later, the angel went back and the poet was very unhappy. The angel returned everything to him then. Another half month later, the angel went back again and this time round, the poet is finally happy.
It is always when we lose something then we will cherish things. Happiness lies in the attitude that we have.

Finally, I have made my contact lenses. This is really a remarkable step I have made haha...after such a long hesitation and deliberate dragging of time (coz I'm afraid), I have finally done it! Haha...guess how long did I take to put 2 pieces of thin plastics into my frantically-blinking eyes? 2hours? 3hours? Nah..I ONLY took 1 hour. Hey...it's much shorter time then I thought I would take leh. Ya, though I do admit that it's still a really long time. In the midst of trying, I wanted to give up. It's so frustrating. My eyelids, did not obey my brain at all and kept on blinking. I was amazed by the lady who taught me how to put. She could practically tell her eyeballs to pop up and they obeyed. I was so shocked by that. If only I have those eyeballs. Haha. Taking the lenses out were easier but not very easy also. Haha just now I tried putting them on again and this time it took me 30mins. Vast improvement right. Wonder what time must I wake up tomorrow to go through that torturing process again. Haiz must sleep early tonight.

Happy belated birthday to our dearest Singapore!!!!!!!!
Haha its seems like I am always wishing belated birthdays in my blog. Anyway, yesterday not much happened except for the NDP. I missed the first hour of the show due to tuition. Argh! Wasted. I seldom or rather never missed any NDP show before. Patriotic right? Haha. And yesterday while I was rushing home to watch the NDP, I passed by many people who are out there shopping and doing norm stuffs. When I saw them, I realised that actually not many people were excited to watch the NDP. I was quite disturbed by that. I mean, hey, its NDP you know, you can only watch it once a year and it's the only time that you can relight the passion in you for Singapore. I remembered the day before, our lecturer asked who never bother to watch NDP and quite a number shot their hands up. Quite sad right. I think those people should really attend one NDP and feel for themselves the atmosphere and passion among the crowds. Anyway, yesterday while watching them putting on slides telling people that the stadium was going to be pulled down, I had a sad feeling inside me. Although I seldom spend times inside the stadium, but the times I had spent there are really memorable. The most memorable part shall be taking part in the NDP 2001, as part of the choir. When I saw the participants yesterday and thought of my past, I believe that those participants have really enjoyed themselves.
Oh ya, someone even proposed after the NDP yesterday, right inside the stadium. So sweet right.

Argh...I feel so moody today...had a bad day in sch...my fear has sort of become reality...still have to buy those textbooks waste my money, though the price is reasonable. Hope things will be better tomorrow.

Help!! I just went into my NTU email to check and I was surprised to see so many emails in there, some from prof informing abt lect and tut and also some about the buzz in NTU. Luckily I came in to check today coz tmr I do not have tutorial yippy! But there are so many handouts and worksheets to print aiyo very confusing. Still must buy textbooks don't they know that we are poor students! Hope it won't be too expensive. Haiz still need to go library do reading. Wow suddenly the reality that I am entering uni is sinking in. And I must say its really overwhelming lor. Hope I won't make any blur mistake in my first week of sch.

Anyway, Happy belated 19th birthday to the most cheerful and strong Agnes!!!
We went for our dinner at CA in Marina Sq and the food is really superb-in both size and taste. Initially, we wanted to celebrate for Agnes on fri night under the fireworks-lit up sky but was disappointed. The fireworks only start on sat but never mind, we still had a good time together. I really take my hats off for my dearest friends who can turn a night of disappointment into a night of fun. We amused ourselves just likewhat the Chinese idiom suggests- zhi de qi le. Wonder when we will meet again...hope to meet them soon.

That day was also the first day of sch for me at HSS and I had a fever that very night. Hope its not a bad omen haha. The number of ppl in my course was more than what me and Denise had expected. I think there are about 100 ba...and its really multi-racial. Hm...tmr I shall take a better look at my course mates. Not much impression.

Guess wad...today I was stuck in a toilet! All because of my cousin's stupid toilet door. Could not open the door although I tried very hard and the maid just outside didn't even hear my repetitive shouts for help until my dad came. He always think that I must have fainted in the toilet. But luckily he hav that thot, if not I wonder how long more I am going to be stuck in there. Oh ya, that day I came across a recommendation of dining places in Sg and the place's name is Bernie's blah blah blah...Unbelievable right! I remember the name Bernie was concocted by Seet and Steph coz Seet's mum called me Bernessa. Haha so its not only me with this name haha...

P.S Agnes remember to collect your part 1 birthday pressie from me hor. It's really nice look forward hor.

Yeah!!!!My blog is finally born...haha...actually i had created it a few days ago but was searching for a skin and trying to add things to make it look like a blog. But as a comp idiot, i had to wait for a few days before my saviour( or rather purple's saviour) arrived. She is no other than...Denise! Sounds passe i know...anyway...my blog is BORN!!
Today went to Denise's house to matriculate and guess wad...we are in the same tutorial groups for 2 subjects...yippy!!!!Actually we were not so lucky, but we managed to change 2 of our tutorial groups to be tog...sad that unable to change all 4 groups. when we waited to see our time table, we were sooo excited...haha...denise even asked me was I as excited as receiving A's results. Haha...fortunate for us we have fridays off. Can go out on fri le...( ps. all of u readin this blog try hard to keep ur Fri(s) free from classes hor)
Last message for the day...please tolerate my amateur blog...too technical stuffs i dun know how to do...need to wait for me to study how to do those stuff...cya
